Waterpark Deck

It was truly enjoyable working on this project. The client had a unique boomerang-shaped pit in their waterpark area, which housed their pump equipment and couldn’t be filled in. Concerned about safety, they wanted to ensure no animals or people would fall in. We devised a plan to deck over the pit, seamlessly blending it with the surrounding surfaces. To accommodate plumbing and buried utilities, the client preferred no posts on the ground, so all framing was securely anchored into the adjacent concrete. We installed an access door for the pump equipment and meticulously shaped the composite decking to match the pit’s exact contours.
